Five Dock Leisure Centre

Nestled within inner-west Sydney, Five Dock Leisure Centre (FDLC) is an all purpose community oriented leisure centre. Of the 450,000 casual and regular visitors each year, the fast-growing Gymnastics Club within has a strong member base exceeding 1000 gymnasts, ranging in age from 18 months to adults. It offers a comprehensive recreational gymnastics program and a competitive program that caters to state, national, and international levels. With the goal of being selected for the state teams, they were looking to expand and when the Fitness Centre across the hall became vacant, it was only natural to fill it with some world class training equipment supplied by both SPIETH & CANNICE. Both style and utility blend incredibly well for a high-quality setup that doesn’t break the bank.

Southport Gymnastics Club

AMCO’s first installation of 2023 was huge, consisting of a great variety of Spieth FIG and Club apparatus, such as a 13m x 14m ‘Moscow’ sprung floor, a set of FIG Approved ‘Munich’ Uneven Bars, adjustable ‘Club’ Uneven Bars and High Bar, a pair of FIG ‘Soft Touch’ Beams and a ‘Club’ adjustable beam, an ‘Ergojet’ FIG Vault table at the end of the regulation 25m runway, all with brand new 20cm matting to keep the gymnasts safe while they fly on all this new gear!

Waverley Gymnastics Centre (Oakleigh)

The world class facilities at WGC Oakleigh were built in 2019 and the club has shown a huge growth in numbers, including in their high performance program. With Olympic Gymnasts training on a daily basis, WGC required some serious training and safety additions. AMCO delivered THREE bespoke closed-pit systems with special soft top landing covers to provide a uniquely safe and convenient landing surface for Beam, Bars, Vault and Tumbling. Additionally, a deep U-Shaped channel pit was built underneath an adjustable horizontal bar designed to give the coach both a birds-eye view and a stable, up-close position for spotting gymnasts.

AMCO has also been engaged in 2023/2024 to install ceiling harnesses over the same apparatus to add yet another extra level of training variability and athlete safety. This project is ongoing, so keep your eyes open in 2024 for an update!

Pulse Gymnastics Epping

In March 2017, Pulse Gymnastics was established in Epping, Melbourne. It was equipped with top-notch SPIETH gymnastics equipment from AMCO Gymnastics. After four years of outstanding operation, the gym outgrew its space. In March 2021, a new and larger venue was opened and the AMCO team executed the installation flawlessly. The new facility is 1200 square meters with an open pit system. This upgrade has improved the training experience for young gymnasts. We thank Natasha, Jarrod, and the dedicated parents at Pulse for their trust and support. We appreciate the hard work and commitment of the parent team in ensuring the timely installation. The teamwork displayed highlights the strong community and culture at Pulse Gymnastics Epping. We wish them continued success in the future.

Skylark Sports

Skylark are consistently ranked as the top rated gymnastics facilities in the South-East for both fun and competition, so it was only a natural conclusion to bring AMCO in on the construction of their new facility in Lynbrook.
From an empty warehouse, to a fully functional facility capable of hosting a wide variety of classes from Ninja to Kindergym to Competitive Acrobatics, this build challenged our installation skills and brought together a welcoming and exciting venue.

Casey Stadium

Stage Two of Casey Stadium’s Redevelopment included a huge state-of-the-art gymnastics hall. AMCO had the opportunity to flex all of our installation muscles, with two full sized floors, a large foam pit with suspended apparatus, discrete and shared training areas for MAG and WAG athletes, and accommodations made for future upgrades and additions.

Gold Coast Gymnastics – Coomera

The 10,000 square-metre Coomera Indoor Sports Centre built for the 2018 Commonwealth Games is now host to Gold Coast Gymnastics Club’s newest venue to date, allowing the number of classes made available to the local community to drastically increase. AMCO were involved in both the set-up of the purpose built Arena for the Games AND the supply & construction of the new club within once the Games were over.

Maroochy Beach

In 2017 the clubhouse of the Maroochy Beach Gymnastics Club burned down in a tragic accident, leaving dozens of young gymnasts without a training facility. To call it heartbreaking is an understatement. But as Zig Ziglar once said, “What defines us is how well we rise after falling.” An unfortunate incident like this is a time for the community to come together. We were fortunate enough to be able to help the club in their time of need. Once the club was able to lease a temporary facility, our team delivered and set up new equipment for their gymnasts, including mats, bars, and ring frames.
Then, “like a Phoenix from the Ashes”, Maroochy Beach Gymnastics re-opened with their brand new centre in April 2018.
